Another former wedding couple we photographed a while back, has got a cute bundle of joy in their life now! And we had the pleasure of shooting their family portrait a couple weeks ago. Marcel is a former client and also a wedding photographer. Him and his beautiful wife, Carmen and their adorable daughter, Jocelyn, […]

I want to take a moment and thank Joe & Mirta for the wonderful work they have given us. First, our wedding in 2004, and more recently, our family portraits, including Jocelyn, our 16-month-old addition. For anyone considering Joe or Mirta as your wedding, engagement, party, or commercial photographer, look no further. What you’ll be getting, is perfection! The details, composition, lighting, and speed at which they do their work, seamlessly blending in with making you, the subject being photographed, feel very comfortable, and at ease with yourself, is just incredible. As they are photographing you, it seems like you’re not even posing. I like this photojournalistic approach. I think, when considering a photographer, being comfortable around this person(s), should be the number one priority. All else goes to waste if you don’t feel at ease with your photographer. The more comfortable you feel, the better your photos will look. We feel that Joe & Mirta has really given us works of art, above and beyond, the family heirloom we were expecting. Barnet Photography will always be our first choice.

Thank you Joe & Mirta Barnet,
    Carmen & Marcel SuciuReplyCancel

Their reception at the Terrace Salon was an elegant combination of pink, black, creme and gold which coordinated perfectly with the mother […]

It’s always exciting when we discover a great new location. Thanks to Lisa’s adventurous spirit, we discovered a very unique location right in the middle of L.A. The L.A. River and Garden center was just that location. We were in touch and go with the weather, as it had been raining earlier that day, but […]

The San Juan Capistrano Misson is just gorgeous and it’s usually crowded on a Spring day, but this day was unique.  It was the middle of April and the temp was close to 100 degrees! Ali and Doug did great and we got some fantastic images.  Because of the heat, we practically had the place […]

We love all weddings we photograph, but it’s especially interesting when we have the honor of photographing ancient cultural traditions. Youry and Albert’s wedding took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on a gorgeous Spring afternoon. Youry worked with floral designer Kevin Lee of L.A. Premier who created a floral masterpiece using white, […]
